The Motor Launch (Frankton Arm Entrance, Lake Wakatipu) Notice 1970

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby gives the following notice:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Frankton Arm Entrance, Lake Wakatipu) Notice 1970.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice.
- Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water of Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu, bounded by a right line commencing at a point 500 yds in a direction 360° from trigonometrical “C” Block 1, Coneburn S.D., and projected in a 081° direction for 570 yds; thence in a 351° direction for 100 yds; thence in a 261° direction for 570 yds; thence in a 171° direction for 100 yds to point of commencement. (All references are to cadastral N.Z.M.S. 189A, Queenstown.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
The access lane shall be marked as follows:

Marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored at each corner of the access lane.

Two notice boards shall be erected on the north shore in line with eastern and western boundaries of the lane.
The notice boards shall measure not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange, with black lettering in the following form:
“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH ACCESS LANE FOR SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 5 M.P.H.
Regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 do not apply in respect of the rectangular area of this bay marked by four orange and black buoys.
WARNING
BATHING AND FISHING PROHIBITED WITHIN THE MARKED AREA

Amending Foreshore Licence of the Moeraki Power Boat and Yachting Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Moeraki

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 26 March 1970* authorising the Moeraki Power Boat and Yachting Club (Incorporated) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Moeraki as a site for a boat ramp, by deleting, in condition 3 of the Schedule, the words and symbols “twenty dollars ($20)” and substituting therefor the words and symbols “ten dollars ($10)”.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 16) 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 16) 1970.
(b) This notice shall come into force on 1 July 1970.

Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.
