CITY OF UPPER HUTT
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Parks Development Loan No. 2, 1970, of $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $30,000, authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a propagating unit and nursery, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 0.013c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Upper Hutt City Council held on the 4th day of May 1970.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Property Acquisition Loan No. 10, 1970, $250,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property for roading and general development, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.167 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 27 April 1970.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Connolly Street Property Loan 1970, $46,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of forty-six thousand dollars ($46,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a commercial market garden and glasshouse enterprise for use as a Council nursery, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.035 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Dunedin City Development Loan No. 7, 1970, of $8,000
Copy of Resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 4 May 1970.
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting flats for purchase by elderly citizens and making advances to purchasers, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00063c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.
