IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE
MATTER of CRISPS AGENCIES AND EXPORTS LIMITED a com-
pany duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its
registered office in the City of Auckland and carrying
on business as an agency company:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 8th day of April 1970 confirming
the reduction of capital of the above-named company from
$20,000 to $10,000 and the minute approved by the Court
showing, with respect to the capital of the company as
altered, the several particulars required by the above-
mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies
on the 23rd day of April 1970. The said minute is in the
words and figures following:

"The capital of Crisps Agencies & Exports Limited is
$10,000 divided into 10,000 fully paid ordinary shares of $1
each having been reduced from $20,000 divided into 10,000
shares of $2 each fully paid".

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PIECE OF ROAD

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments, public notice is hereby given that the Franklin
County Council proposes, pursuant to section 148 of the
Public Works Act 1928, to stop that piece of unformed road
off Pilgrims Road, Mauku, described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said
piece of road proposed to be stopped is deposited in the
public office of the Clerk to the Franklin County Council,
situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for in-
spection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.

All persons who may wish to make any objections to the
above proposal to stop the said piece of road must set forth
their objections, in writing, and send the same to the County
Clerk at the office of the Franklin County Council, Roulston
Street, Pukekohe, within 40 days from the date of the first
publication of this notice. If any objections are received by
the Franklin County Council, as aforesaid, a public notice
shall be published, calling a meeting of the ratepayers of the
district, such meeting to be held at a time and place to be
specified in the said notice, the time so specified being not
earlier than 14 days after the date of publication of the
notice, pursuant to the said section of the Public Works
Act 1928.

SCHEDULE
Area and description of the piece of land proposed to be
stopped:
Two acres two roods three decimal eight perches (2A. 2R.
3.8P.) adjoining or passing through Lots 1, 2, and 3,

Deposited Plan 19117, and Lot 13 of Allotment 98, Waiuku

Situated in the County of Franklin, North Auckland Land
Registration District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on S.O. Plan 46414 deposited in the office of the

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 1, 1970, $16,600
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City
Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 1,
1970, $16,600, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City
Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing for the
redemption of the Water Reticulation Loan 1954, $280,000
($24,000 Portion), the Takapuna City Council makes a special
rate of decimal nought nought four two cents (.0042c) in the
dollar ($) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid
off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Takapuna City Council held on the 21st day of April 1970.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 6, 1970, $20,000
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City
Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No.
6, 1970, $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna
City Council by way of special loan under the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing for
the redemption of the Streets Improvements Loan, $400,000,
1952—Seventh Instalment, $40,000, the Takapuna City
Council makes a special rate of decimal nought nought seven
nine cents (.0079c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable unim-
proved value of all rateable property in the City of Taka-
puna; and that such special rate shall be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan being a period of eight (8) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Takapuna City Council held on the 21st day of April 1970.
