BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Housing Loan 1970—$25,100

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand one hundred dollars ($25,100) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0098c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 25th day of March 1970.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Improvement Loan 1969—$140,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and forty thousand dollars ($140,000) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the facilities at the Blenheim Municipal Abattoir, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.119c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 25th day of February 1970.

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Centennial Sports Complex Loan 1969, $50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Balclutha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the Balclutha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the Centennial Sports Complex Loan 1969, $50,000, the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.117c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Balclutha; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 5 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Hospital Creek Loan 1969, $13,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Balclutha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $13,000 authorised to be raised by the Balclutha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the Hospital Creek Loan 1969, the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.1069c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Balclutha; and that the special rate shall be an annual- recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 28th day of September and the 28th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 5 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sandy Point Forestry Loan 1969, $8,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of afforestation at Sandy Point, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought two cents (.002c) in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 24 March 1970.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 43, and by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960; in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956; and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) as a special loan to be known as Drainage Additional Loan No. 62, 1969—$200,000, for the purposes of meeting the final costs of the Manukau scheme of main drainage.

The foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority, convened for that purpose and held on 16 February 1970, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority, held on 16 March 1970, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 21 February and 7 March 1970.
