TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the
purposes of that public work, the portions of road described
in the Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And, further,
notice is hereby given that a plan of the portion of road
required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the
Tauranga County Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road,
Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or the
stopping of the said portions of road should, if they have any
objections to the execution of the said public work or the
stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to
the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same,
in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of
the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County
Council, at Tauranga, and that, if any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at
which the hearing will be held.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council held on the 1st day of April 1970:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of eight hundred and forty-seven thousand
dollars ($847,000) to be known as the Municipal Abattoir
Loan 1969, $847,000, which amount is proposed to be raised
by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts
for the purpose of upgrading and providing for expansion
at the municipal abattoir, the said Auckland City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of point two nought
three eight (.2308) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable
property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the
City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan or until the
loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council held on the 1st day of April 1970:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of one hundred and twelve thousand seven
hundred dollars ($112,700) to be known as the Redemption
Loan No. 62, 1969, $112,700, which amount is proposed to be
raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-
mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity those
portions of the Administration Building Loan 1958, of
$150,000; the General Purposes Loan 1956, of $568,000; and
the Purchase of Properties Loan 1958, of $300,000, which
mature on 15 April 1970, the said Auckland City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought three
three three (.0333) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable
property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the
City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan or until the
loan is fully paid off."

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Loan 1969β€”$200,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the
Tauranga City Council, held on the 23rd day of March 1970,
the following resolution was passed:

"That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing properties for vehicles-parking and for the
various civic purposes designated in the Tauranga district town
planning scheme, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes
a special rate of decimal point nought four four five six cents
(.04456c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period
of 25 years or until the said loan is fully paid off."
