NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is
hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes, under
the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road
the portion of land described in the Schedule hereto. A plan of
the portions of land proposed to be taken is open for public
inspection at the offices of the Waikato County Council, Grey
Street, Hamilton East, during 40 days from the date of the
first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the
proposal must lodge their objection, in writing, at the office of
the Council on or before the 27th day of April 1970.

THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the
Public Works Act 1928; notice is hereby given that the Thames
Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to
widen the northern side of Amy Street, Thames, between
Queen and Davy Streets, Thames; and, for the purposes of
such public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that
a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situated
in Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the public work or
by the taking of such land, who have any objections to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land, must state their objections, in writing, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Mary
Street, Thames.

If any objection is made, a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing 4 perches, more or less,
being Lot 2 on Land Transfer Plan S. 13055, and being part
of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 559, folio 240, South Auckland Registry; coloured
pink thereon.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET AND FOR USE,
CONVENIENCE, AND ENJOYMENT OF ROAD

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that
the Taumarunui Borough Council proposes to execute a certain
public work, namely, the taking of portion of land for use,
convenience, and enjoyment of road, as described in the First
Schedule hereto, and the taking for road of the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so affected is deposited in the
public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in
Huia Street, Taumarunui, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work, who have any objections to this proposal, must state
their objections, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk,

PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

MAKING OF SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $18,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of meeting additional costs of purchasing land and
erecting accommodation for old people, the said Papakura
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00866c in
