Fire Engine Loan 1969, $10,000

"That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waiuku Borough Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000, authorised to be raised by the Waiuku Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of acquiring and equipping a second fire appliance, the said Waiuku Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.015c in the dollar upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Waiuku; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

Taranaki Electric-power Board

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki Electric-power Board resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal and interest on the Board's Hydro Electric Head-works Expansion and Renewals Loan 1969, $275,000, authorised to be raised by the Taranaki Electric-power Board for the purpose of expanding the generating capacity by enlargement and renewal of the penstock and other sections of the head-works, the Taranaki Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies, a special rate of fifty one-thousandths (50/1000) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Taranaki Electric-power District, and that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully repaid."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Taranaki Electric-power Board held on 23 February 1970.

Otamatea County Council

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Depot Development Loan 1969β€”$15,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing annual charges on a loan of $15,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new depot, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two nine five (.0295) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of March 1970:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy-seven thousand dollars ($77,000) to be known as Housing Supplementary Loan (Newtown Park Flats, Stage II) 1970, of $77,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Housing Loan (Newtown Park Flats, Stage II) 1968, of $853,000, was sanctioned, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three five of a cent (.0035c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off."
