WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Laingham Fire Station Loan 1970, $33,600
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $33,600 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the erection of a fire station, provision of equipment, and all costs incidental thereto, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0028c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of an extract from the minutes passed by the Waitemata County Council on 26 February 1970.

HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Havelock North Development Loan 1969, $100,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Havelock North Borough Council did, at a meeting held on 18 December 1969, resolve as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Havelock North Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of enabling the renewal of watermains ($20,000), alterations and extensions to the sewerage system ($17,000), and the purchase of properties and development of roading, carparks, and service lanes ($63,000), the said Havelock North Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one four two cents in the dollar (.142c) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Havelock North; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners' Flats Loan 1969, $7,000
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in accordance with an Order in Council issued in Wellington and dated the 30th day of January 1970, that consent has been given to the borrowing of the above sum of $7,000 by the Waipawa Borough Council.
The security for the loan shall be a special rate of decimal nought six one four cents (.0614c) in the dollar ($) made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waipawa.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to section 47 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hastings City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $73,000 authorised to be raised by the Hastings City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the Hastings City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.018 of a cent in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the City of Hastings; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
Passed at a meeting of the Council, held on 9 March 1970.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reserves Loan No. 2, 1970, of $55,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of March 1970:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to be known as Reserves Loan No. 2, 1970, of $55,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the Mount Victoria area, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four of a cent (.004c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 1, 1970, of $100,600
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of March 1970:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand six hundred dollars ($100,600) to be known as Renewal Loan No. 1, 1970, of $100,600, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Libraries Loan 1963, of $110,000, and the Renewal Loan 1964, of $1,097,400, which mature on 1 April and 1 May 1970, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought eight of a cent (.008c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully paid off."
