BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969-$65,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolved as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $65,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of financing advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four seven (.047) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of unimproved value, of all the rateable property in the whole County of Bay of Islands; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council, passed on Wednesday, 4 February 1970.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE

Otamatea Kauri and Pioneer Museum Loan No. 2, 1969, $3,000 PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $3,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the Local Authority Loans Act 1956 and its amendment for the purpose of extending the Otamatea Kauri and Pioneer Museum, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought nine (.009) cents in the dollar upon the rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea; and that the special rate will be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of October in each and every year, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council, held on Tuesday, 24 February 1970.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

The Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 42, and in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) as a special loan to be known as Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 19, 1968, $1,250,000--Third Issue, $400,000, for the purposes of meeting the costs of and incidental to the continued development of the Hunua catchments.

The foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority, convened for that purpose and held on 15 December 1969, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority, held on 16 February 1970, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 24 January and 7 February 1970.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed in the presence of the Chairman and Secretary:

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Completion Supplementary Redemption Loan 1969--$37,000 RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of thirty-seven thousand dollars ($37,000) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of $37,000 borrowed for the purpose of roading works in the Borough of Mount Roskill, due and payable on 22 March 1970, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one five of a cent in the dollar (.015 of a cent in the dollar) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

Passed at a meeting of Council held on 3 March 1970.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 4th day of March 1970:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of sixty-two thousand six hundred dollars ($62,600) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 61, 1970--$62,600, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Redemption Loan No. 10, 1963--$122,600, which matures on 1 April 1970, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought one five seven (.0157) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."
