Every person affected by the proposal, who wishes to make
any objection, shall set forth, in writing, any objection he may
wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of
the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment
of compensation, and shall send such written objections, within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to
the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, 68 Greys Avenue,
Auckland. A public hearing of such objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

An estate in fee simple in all the land situated in the County
of Waitemata containing, firstly, 1 rood 24 perches, being Lots
2 and 3, D.P. 49045, and being all the land in certificate of
title, Volume 1120, folio 275, and being the property of
Kenneth Andrew Bentley; and, secondly, 32.3 perches, being
Lot 4, D.P. 49045, and being all the land in certificate of title,
Volume 1924, folio 30, and being the property of Hector
William Forsythe.

OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET WIDENING
(CLYDE STREET)

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in
the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments,
notice is hereby given that the Oamaru Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of the
public street known as Clyde Street; and, for the purposes of
such public work, the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken for street. And notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the public office of the Oamaru Borough Council,
situate in Thames Street, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections,
in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, namely, the 3rd day of March 1970,
to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thames Street,
Oamaru.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1969β€”$16,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolved as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan
of $16,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
poses of financing the provision of staff housing, the said Bay
of Islands County Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought one two (.012) cents in the dollar upon the
rateable value, on the basis of unimproved value, of all the
rateable property in the whole County of Bay of Islands; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy
of a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council, passed
on Wednesday, 4 February 1970.
