Companies on the 24th day of December 1969. The said
minute is in the words and figures following:
“That the capital of the company be reduced from $480,000
divided into 480,000 ordinary shares of $1.00 each to $180,000
divided into 180,000 ordinary shares of $1.00 each and that
such reduction be effected by paying to each shareholder the
sum of $0.625 for each share held by him being capital which
is in excess of the wants of the company.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS
ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a
service lane to provide rear access to properties in James
Street; and, for this purpose, the said Whangarei City Council
proposes to take, under the provisions of the said Public
Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto
for street. Notice is further given that plans of the land so
required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Bank Street,
Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection,
without fee, by all persons during office hours. All persons
affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of
such land, who have any objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said land must state
their objections, in writing, and send the same, within forty
(40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town
Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank
Street, Whangarei.

and amendments, and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a
public library and hall on the properties of Kenneth Andrew
Bentley and Hector William Forsythe, situated in Bentley
Avenue, Glenfield; and, for the purposes of such public work,
the lands in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers,
68 Greys Avenue, Auckland, and is available for inspection
(without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
