SCHEDULE CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre 27.5 perches situated in Block XIII, Rakaia Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining part Reserve 174; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23925 (S.O. 11342) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Constituting the Taranaki Catchment Area

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 and the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes the area described in the Schedule hereto a catchment area within the meaning of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, which area shall be known as the Taranaki Catchment Area and shall become a water region within the meaning of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967.

SCHEDULE First, all that area in the Taranaki and Wellington Land Districts comprising the City of New Plymouth, the Boroughs of Eltham, Hawera, Inglewood, Patea, Stratford, and Waitara, the Town Districts of Manaia and Waverley, the Counties of Taranaki, Egmont, Eltham, Waimate West, Hawera, Patea, and Inglewood, and portions of the Counties of Clifton, Stratford, Taumarunui, and Waitotara bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at a point on the northern boundary of part Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 2A Block, situated in Block I, Tainui Survey District, and proceeding easterly along that boundary and its production across Mokau Road to the northern watershed of the Waihi Stream; thence easterly and northerly along the crest of that watershed through part Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 2B and part Lot 1, D.P. 3223, to Trig. Station Tuhingakakapo; thence generally south-easterly along the crest of the south-western watershed of the Mokau River, through part Lot 1, D.P. 3223, and part Lot 3, D.P. 3174, to the south-western boundary of part Mokau-Mohakatino 1c 2 Block; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that block to and north-easterly along its south-eastern boundary to its easternmost corner, being a point on the crest of the south-eastern watershed of the Mokau River; thence again generally north-easterly along the crest of that watershed through Lot 16, D.P. 3174, to the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block II, Tainui Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along the south-western boundary of that section to and easterly along the southern boundary of Section 8, Block III, Mokau Survey District, to its south-eastern corner; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Lots 14 and 21, D.P. 4639, to and generally south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 7231, and
