Declaring Land Acquired for a Local Work to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown
land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 125 acres 2 roods situated in
Block VI, Te Mata Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D., and
being Sections 9 to 16 (both inclusive); as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22116
(S.O. 5677) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red. Being all Order in
Council No. 224480, Hawke's Bay Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the
Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto,
being provisional State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamation
dated the 5th day of July 1920, and published in Gazette, 8
July 1920, Volume II, p. 2112, is required for the settlement
purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof,
cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become
Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or other dis-
position under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICTโINANGAHUA COUNTY
PROVISIONAL State forest situated in Block XII, Mawheraiti
Survey District, portion being comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 1D, folios 262 and 263, and all being portion of 4,320
acres, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 2112:
area, 8 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 10796.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this

and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Kaitaia and be
under the control and management of the Kaitaia Borough
Council.
