OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Opotiki County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.049c to the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Opotiki; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be repayable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reporoa Water Supply Loan 1968—$154,500

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $154,500 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a rural water supply at Reporoa, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a rate of 0.061c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Council held on Tuesday, the 11th day of February 1969.

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and forty thousand dollars ($140,000) authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing stormwater control including purchase of the necessary land in the borough, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby make a special rate of decimal one two three cents (.123c) in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the East Coast Bays Borough Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 5th day of February 1969.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Library and Museum Building Renewal Loan 1969—$90,000

"THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Library and Museum Building Renewal Loan 1969 of ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying the balance of the Library and Museum Building Loan 1953—$131,000, amounting to $90,000, which will remain unpaid at the date of maturity, i.e., 15 March 1969, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three one cents (.031c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the City of New Plymouth; and that the said rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments on the 15th day of September and 15th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Plimmerton Fire Engine Loan 1968, $9,000

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 6 February 1969:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $9,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for purchasing a fully equipped fire engine to serve the Taupo and Pukerua Bay Ridings, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0235c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Taupo and Pukerua Bay Ridings of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Water Supply Loan 1967—$160,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tawa Borough Council has resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing an additional reservoir, pipeline, and fittings, and work incidental thereto, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.151c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property, of the whole of the Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out further street and footpath work, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.122c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
