WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

TAKE notice that the Waipara County Council intends, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, for the purposes of establishing a sewage treatment works, to take a right of way easement over an area of 5.3 perches, described as being part of Rural Section 7540, being part of the land described in outstanding Deed of Conveyance 40747; such land being more particularly delineated in a plan lodged at the offices of the Waipara County Council, Waikari, where it is available for public inspection. Every person affected by the proposed work is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the interest in land, such objection not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation, and to send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Waipara County Council, P.O. Box 1, Waikari. If any such objection is received a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

CITY OF NELSON

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET WIDENING

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of Halifax Street in the City of Nelson; and, for the purposes of such public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Trafalgar Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land containing two decimal five perches (2.5P.), more or less, being part of Lot 1, Deposited Plan 1639, and being part of Section 223 of the City of Nelson, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 64, folio 66, and shown on Survey Office Plan No. 10772, and coloured blue.

Rural Housing Loan 1968

That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki County Council resolved, on the 12th day of February 1969, as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
