BOUNDARIES OF KAWAKAWA RIDING OF COUNTY OF BAY OF ISLANDS

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the middle of the Kawakawa River with the middle of the Karetu River in Block IX, Russell Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally up the middle of the Karetu River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Allotment 79, Ruapekapeka Parish; thence to and along that eastern boundary, crossing the intervening Karetu Road, along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 78, the end of a public road, and the northern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 94 to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block XIV, Russell Survey District, and the northern end of the public road forming the south-eastern boundary, of the said Section 3 to the middle of the road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road and the middle of the public road forming the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 4, Block XIV, aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 104 to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 106; thence northerly generally down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Motatau 2, Section 17; thence to and along the south-western and western boundaries of that block, crossing the intervening Pukatea Road, the south-western boundaries of Motatau 2, Sections 15 and 13, crossing the intervening Pokapu Road and the production of the last-mentioned boundary, to and down the middle of the Te Tahunaakura Stream and the middle of the Waiharakeke Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment 162, Kawakawa Parish, in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District;
