ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 823 square miles, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the mouth of the Takou River in Block III, Kerikeri Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally along the sea coast of the South Pacific Ocean and continuing easterly along the northern shore of Harakeke Island to its easternmost extremity in Block IX, Bay of Islands Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to the northernmost extremity of Piercy Island (Motukokako) in Block XIIA, Bay of Islands Survey District; thence southerly generally to and along that sea coast to and south westerly generally along the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga 4F 2 in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, along the north-western boundaries of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga 4F 2, 4G 4, and 4G 3, crossing the intervening Whangaruru North Road and the Mahia Roadway, and along the northern boundary of Tutaematai B. 2B 2, crossing the intervening Ngaiotonga-Rawhiti Road, along the northern and western boundaries of part of Tutaematai B. 2 No. 4, as shown on S.O. Plan 29247, and along the eastern and northern sides of the Whakapara-Russell Road to a point due north of the north-western corner of that part Tutaematai B. 2 No. 3 shown on S.O. Plan 29247; thence along a right line to that north-western corner and along the western boundary of the said part B. 2 No. 3, along the western and south-western boundaries of part Tutaematai A., as shown on D.P. 27504, and continuing along the north-eastern, eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of Waikare 17, the south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block XVI, Russell Survey District, and Section 5, Block XV, Russell Survey District, the eastern boundary of Taumatahinau Block, the northern and eastern boundaries of that part Puhipuhi 3 declared State forest by Proclamation published in Gazette, 1962, p. 724, and westerly along the southern boundary of the said part Puhipuhi 3 to Parsons Road; thence along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and along the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of Section 22, Block III, Hukerenui Survey District, the end of a public road, and the western boundary of Section 23 to a public road; thence along a right line across that public road to the northern end of the roadside bearing 355° 00′, distance 564.4 links, being a north-western boundary of Section 12, shown on S.O. Plan 16068, and along the eastern and south-eastern sides of the public road forming the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 10 and 9, all the said sections being of Block III, aforesaid, to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 2, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District, the western boundaries of Sections 3 and 25, Block VII, aforesaid, and continuing along the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 43284, and the southern boundary of that lot and the generally eastern side of Tapuhi Road to a point in line with the south-eastern side of the public road forming the north-western boundary of Section 74, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District; thence to and along that south-eastern side and its production to the middle of the Waiotu River, and down the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Waipuakakahau Stream to and along the eastern boundary of Section 16, Block

X, Hukerenui Survey District, to and westerly generally along the northern side of State Highway No. 1 to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 19; thence to and along that western boundary to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 38 and 49 to a public road and along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 61, along the northern and western boundaries of that section and along a right line across a public road to and along the western boundaries of Sections 48 and 50, the northern and western boundaries of Section 51 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the southern side of the public road forming the north-western boundary of Section 52, all the said sections being of Block X, aforesaid, and along that roadside to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence due south to the northern boundary of Section 32, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District, and along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of that Section 32 to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 31, the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 30, and the southern and western boundaries of Section 29 to and along the northern boundary of Section 23, and then southerly along the eastern side of the public road forming the eastern boundary of Section 18 to a point in line with the southern boundary of the said Section 18, all the said sections being of Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District; thence to and along that southern boundary and along the eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 4, Block XII, Motatau Survey District, to and along the southern boundaries of Motatau 2 Sections 64B, 64A, and 63, along the eastern and southern boundaries of Maromaku Block, crossing the intervening public roads, along the south-eastern boundaries of Kaikou A. 1 and A. 2, crossing and recrossing the Kaikou River, and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary, again crossing the Kaikou River, to and along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of Kaikou A. 3A and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Rotohanganui Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to and along the southern boundary of Kaikou A. 3E to and down the middle of the Omapuaku Stream to and up the middle of the Kaikou River to and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the northern part of Nukutawhiti Block, shown on D.P. 9193, along the southern boundary of the said part of Nukutawhiti Block, parts of which now form the southern boundaries of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 11394, and along the production of that southern boundary to the middle of the Awarua River; thence down the middle of that river to, and still westerly generally up, the middle of the Mangakahia River to a point in Block IV, Tutamoe Survey District, in line with the south-western end of the public road forming the southern boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Punakitere Survey District; thence to and along that south-western end and the south-western boundary of the said Section 1 and its production, along the end of another public road to the middle of the Mangakahia River, and again up the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Mangaraupo Stream in Block XV, Punakitere Survey District, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 9, Block XV, aforesaid; thence to and along the generally northern and western boundaries of Section 3, Block XV, aforesaid, crossing the public road which intersects that section, and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mangakahia River, and again up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 13, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District; thence northerly generally to and along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 13 and the eastern boundary of Section 14 to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 14, and north-easterly along a right line across a public road to the south-eastern corner of Section 5; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 5 and 3, the northern end of a public road, and the northern boundary of Section 4, all the said sections being of Block XIII, aforesaid, along the south-eastern boundaries of Kohatutaka 6K 1, 6H 3, 6H 2, 6H 1, 6G 2, and 6F, crossing the intervening Otata and Wharepunga Roads, along the generally eastern boundaries of Kohatutaka 6E, 6D 6B, and 6D 6C to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Kohatutaka 6A 1, the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 42395, and Section 2, Block VI, Punakitere Survey District, the end of a public road, and the generally eastern boundary of Section 2, Block II, Punakitere Survey District, and along the eastern end of a public road and its production to the middle of the Punakitere River; thence westerly down the middle of the river to and up the middle of the Mangatoa Stream to and due north along the western boundary of Block II, aforesaid, and its production to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block X, Omapere Survey District, and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 5, crossing an intervening public road, and continuing along the western boundary of Section 7, Block X, aforesaid, to the north-western corner of that section; thence along a right line bearing 45° to the middle of the Utakura River and still northerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary
