RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1968—$12,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as
follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
providing staff housing, the said Otamatea County Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two three four
(.0234) cents in the dollar upon the rateable (unimproved)
value of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea; and
that the special rate will be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable in each and every year
on the 1st day of April during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 25 years or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on the 25th
day of November 1969.

amendments, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as
follows:

loan of $25,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
providing staff housing, the said Otamatea County Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three six one
(.0361) cents in the dollar upon the rateable (unimproved)
value of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea; and
that the special rate will be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable in each and every
year on the 1st day of April during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 25 years or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on the 25th
day of November 1969.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) authorised
to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to
farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Franklin
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
decimal nought two four six four cents (.02464c) in the dollar
upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of
all rateable property in the County of Franklin; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and shall be payable half-yearly on the
1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years
or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Franklin County Council held on the 24th day of November
1969.

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Generation Loan 1968, $2,000,000—Part $1,400,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the
Tauranga City Council, held on the 24th day of November
1969, the following resolution was passed:
“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $1,400,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of the Mangapapa
hydro-electric station on the Wairoa River and incidental work,
the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate
of decimal point six nought three four cents (.6034c) in the
dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Tauranga City Council electrical supply special rating area;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
1st day of July in each and every year during the currency
of the said loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan
is fully paid off.”

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tauranga County Council hereby resolved as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the
Bulk Water Supply (Katikati - Te Mania) Supplementary Loan
1969—$16,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
providing for increase in costs on the original Bulk Water
Supply (Katikati - Te Mania) Loan 1966, of $160,000, the
said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought nought seven of a cent (.007c) in the dollar
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council on the 1st day of
December 1969.
