The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 5, 1969
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 5, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year, and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SITUATED within Otamatea County, at Pahi:
Paparoa Road (from a point 24 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from the northern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 47584, being part Allotment 12, Town of Pahi, to a point 16 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from the said corner).

The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 4, 1969
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 4, 1969.
The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 21st day of April 1965, which relates to Westland County, at Franz Josef, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Westland County, at Franz Josef:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) (from a point 15 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Aerodrome Road to a point 32 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Aerodrome Road).

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Waimangaroa
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for railway purposes on and after the 8th day of December 1969.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Recreation Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to the Featherston Domain
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes; and, further, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Featherston Domain, to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of certain parcels of the land have been changed by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court; and whereas certain parcels of the land have been released from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid; and whereas it is desired that the balance of the land shall be gazetted under the current appellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 96.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by a notice issued contemporaneously with this notice, as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
