NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tokaanu and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Consent to Assignment

PURSUANT to regulation 41 of the Rock Oyster Farming Regulations 1964, the Minister of Marine has consented to the assignment of the lease of the lease land shown on the plan deposited in the Head Office of the Marine Department under number M.D. 12674, granted to Andrew Auchinvole, Donald Auchinvole, and Margaret Auchinvole on 24 November 1967, for the purpose of farming rock oysters, to Christopher John Auchinvole.
