Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellation of that land has been changed by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court and it is now known by the description set out in the Third Schedule hereto; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Wanganui 1969, No. 6.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Mangonui (Notice No. Ag. 10523)

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order, made by the Mangonui County Council on the 17th day of September 1969, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

"THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Mangonui County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, to declare the plant woolly nightshade (Solanum auriculatum) to be a noxious weed within the Mangonui County as from the 1st day of October 1969."

Plant Declared Noxious Weed under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Woodville (Notice No. Ag. 10524)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Woodville County Council on the 12th day of September 1969, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

"THAT the Woodville County Council resolves, by way of special order, that the plant common broom (Cytisus scoparius) be declared a noxious weed in the County of Woodville as from the 13th day of September 1969."

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
