The Road Classification (Rangitikei County) Notice No. 1,
1969
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regula-
tions 1955 the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the
following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
(Rangitikei County) Notice No. 1, 1969. - The Rangitikei County Council’s proposed classification of
the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved. - The notices dated the 22nd day of June 1960†, the 20th
day of January 1967‡, the 8th day of May 1967§, and the 19th
day of April 1968∥, which relate to the classification of the
roads described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
RANGITIKEI COUNTY
Roads Classified in Class One
Otara Road.
All those roads under the control of the Rangitikei County
Council situate in the southern portion of the Rangitikei County
and lying generally between the sea coast in the south and
Ongo and Rangatira Roads (including the aforesaid roads)
in the north.
Roads Classified in Class Two
ALL roads under the control of the Rangitikei County Council
other than those classified in Class I.

Rock Oyster Farming Lease
PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, notice is
hereby given that the Acting Minister of Marine has granted to
Norman Haylock Chapman, of Matakohe, and Mervyn James
O’Connor, of Maungaturoto, the lease of 10 acres of sea bed
(lease No. 111) in the Tauhupo Creek, in Kaipara Harbour,
for cultivating rock oysters.

Decisions under the Sales Tax Act 1932-33—Notice No. 48
DECISIONS in interpretation of the Sales Tax Act, notified in
the supplement to the Gazette of 21 December 1961, No. 83,
and from time to time amended, are hereby further amended
as follows:
After paragraph 5 (n) of Decision No. 1 add:
(o) The production of original sculpture and statuary.

The Sales Tax Act 1932–33—Notice No. 49
UNDER powers vested in him by section 9 of the Sales Tax
Act 1932–33, the Minister of Customs has made the following
direction:
Persons need not be licensed in respect of taxable goods on
which tax has been paid or is to be paid by the seller, if such
goods are sold by such persons at the same price for which
the goods are purchased by them.
Any licence in respect of other taxable goods will not be
regarded as applicable to the goods hereinbefore enumerated.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed under the Noxious Weeds Act
1950 in the County of Piako (Notice No. Ag. 10517)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture
under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes
of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order,
made by the Piako County Council on the 8th day of
September 1969, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
"THAT, pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and all other
acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the
Piako County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order,
as follows:
(1) That the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereunder
be declared noxious weeds within the boundaries of the County
of Piako.
SCHEDULE
Woolly nightshade (Solanum auriculatum).
Sedge (Carex longebrachiata)."
