Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for travelling stock
purposes to a reserve for pound purposes.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Hamilton City Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve
for recreation purposes; and, further, pursuant to the Reserves
and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Hamilton, in trust, for
that purpose.

Amending Foreshore Licence for Jetty at Riverton

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Acting Minister of
Marine hereby further amends the notice signed on 25 May
1967* licensing William John Heatherington to occupy a site at
Riverton for a jetty, assigned to Charles Lorne Waitiri and
Mary Harriet Waitiri on 9 January 1968†, and amended on 27
January 1969‡, by adding after the word “jetty” wherever it
appears in the licence the words “and shed”, and by adding
after the symbols “M.D. 13071” the word and symbols “and
M.D. 13612”.

The Superannuation (Cook Islands) Notice 1969

Pursuant to section 50 (9) (e) of the Superannuation Act
1956, the Minister of Finance hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Superannuation (Cook
   Islands) Notice 1969.

2. The holders of the following offices in the service of the
   Government of the Cook Islands shall, for the purposes of the
   Superannuation Act 1956, be deemed to be permanent officers
   of the Cook Islands Public Service:

(a) A member of the Public Service Commission of the
Cook Islands.

(b) An officer of the Legislative Service of the Cook Islands.

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain
parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
   Notice Rotorua 1969, No. 48.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
   hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described
   in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
   released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
   Affairs Act 1953.
