hereby revokes the declaration dated the 29th day of November
1968, published in Gazette, 16 January 1969, No. 1, p. 14,
setting apart Crown land and portions of public reserve for
river control purposes, pursuant to section 25 of the Public
Works Act 1928, in so far as it affects the piece of land lastly
described in the Second Schedule thereto.

of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, namely, the construction of a stopbank for soil conservation
and river control purposes; and, for the purposes of that
public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post office at Otorohanga and is there open for inspection; that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or
payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and
send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication
of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public
