Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two three (.23) cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the special rating area; that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that such special rate is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing the said loan of $43,000 and interest thereon at a rate not exceeding five and three-quarters percent (5¾%) per annum."

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Development Redemption Loan (B) 1969, of $6,400

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 21st day of October 1969:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $6,400 authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Development Loan 1958, of $100,000, which matures on the 22nd day of October 1969, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one eight cents in the dollar (.018c in the $1) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson; that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that such special rate is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing the said loan of $6,400 and interest thereon at a rate not exceeding five and three-quarters percent (5¾%) per annum."

CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Housing Loan 1969, $22,400

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $22,400 authorised to be raised by the Cambridge Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.029c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Cambridge; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council held on 22 October 1969.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to be known as the Natural Gas Development Loan 1969 authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of

the cost of providing for the use of natural gas, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven seven cents (.077c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 20th day of October 1969.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks First Portion Renewal Loan 1969—$5,600

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand six hundred dollars ($5,600) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment of the balance of principal which would be outstanding on the Waterworks Loan 1953—$200,000 (First Portion Loan, $30,000) which matures on 1 December 1969, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0048c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years (15 years), or until the loan is fully paid off."

Renewal Loans 1969

Copy of resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 20 October 1969:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing 5 percent loans maturing 15 November 1969, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0596c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loans and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loans, being a period of six (6) years and ten (10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off.
