THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL
Notice Of Intention To Take Land
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Thames Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to construct and lay out a service lane in the block bounded by Pollen, Willoughby, Mackay, and Richmond Streets, in the Borough of Thames; and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections, in writing, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of the notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Mary Street, Thames.
If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Notice Of Intention To Stop Portions Of Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And further notice is hereby given that a plan of the portion of road required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the stopping of the said portions of road should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council, at Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for a public street and the land described in the Second Schedule for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public street.
Every person affected should set forth, in writing, any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation, and lodge the written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch 1, within forty (40) days from

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 21st day of October 1969:
