RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Improvements Renewal Loan 1969—$11,200

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eleven thousand two hundred dollars ($11,200) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment of the balance of principal which would be outstanding on the Abattoir Improvement Loan 1959—$15,000 which matures on 7 December 1969, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0095c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Second Portion Renewal Loan 1969—$14,600

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fourteen thousand six hundred dollars ($14,600) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment of the balance of principal which would be outstanding on the Waterworks Loan 1953—$200,000 (Second Portion Loan of $20,000) which matures on 12 October 1969, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0104c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clutha County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) authorised to be raised by the Clutha County Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Clutha County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four nine eight (.0498) cents in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Clutha; and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable

on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

I hereby certify that the above resolution is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Clutha County Council held on the 7th day of October 1969.

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Kennington Wool Scouring Works Pipeline Loan 1969, $45,200 THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $45,200 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of laying or purchasing a sewerage drain from the Kennington Wool Scouring Works of J. Matheson and Co. Ltd. to the city boundary at Rockdale Road and ancillary works, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one four cents (.014c) in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of October in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 23 September 1969.
