Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles (Other Than Heavy Goods Service Vehicles) in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
PURSUANT to regulation 49 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of regulation 41 (2) of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
TAIL lamp assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors fitted to Ford Falcon motor vehicles manufactured in Australia.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

The Waimate County Council's proposed classification of the roads, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

So much of the notice dated the 12th day of April 1951† as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Temporary Protection of Industry
Notice is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake inquiries and to report, in terms of section 10E (4) of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, on whether the temporary duties imposed on the following goods are still necessary to protect the New Zealand industries in relation to the importation of such goods:

Bandsaw blades and toothed bandsaw strip, over 4 in. in width, for wood sawing, falling within Tariff item 82.02.07.

Trailer axle assemblies of a capacity of 3 tons and over, falling within Tariff item 87.14.21.
Notice is also hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
Chalk, falling within Tariff item 25.08.00.
