Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Raymond George Longdill, over Land in Block XIII, Hapuakohe Survey District, Waikato County, Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes, Assented to
WHEREAS by a notice dated the 21st day of January 1969, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 13 February 1969, No. 8, p. 222, all those pieces of land containing together 6 acres 1 rood 33.4 perches situated in Block XIII, Hapuakohe Survey District, being parts Allotment 649, Taupiri Parish, were taken for soil conservation and river control purposes;
And whereas Raymond George Longdill was entitled to compensation in respect of the taking of the said land;
And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said Raymond George Longdill a right of way over all that piece of land containing 26.5 perches situated in Block XIII, Hapuakohe Survey District, being part Allotment 649, Taupiri Parish, shown, coloured blue on plan M.O.W. 22767 (S.O. 44626);
And whereas the said Raymond George Longdill has agreed to accept such grant of right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation;
Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

The Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 2, 1969
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 2, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 1st day of June 1967†, which relates to Acacia Bay Road, in Taupo County, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Taupo County:
Acacia Bay Road (from Alberta Road to a point 119 chains measured southerly generally along Acacia Bay Road from Alberta Road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 7, 1969.

The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitemata County, at Paremoremo:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the western side of Cutts Crescent with the northern side of Paremoremo Block Road; thence north-westerly generally along the northern side of Paremoremo Block Road to the
southern bank of the Paremoremo Creek; thence easterly generally along the said bank of the said creek to a point due north of a point on Paremoremo Block Road 25 chains measured south-easterly generally along Paremoremo Block Road from Cutts Crescent; thence due south by a right line to the said point on the northern side of Paremoremo Block Road; thence north-westerly generally along the northern side of the said road to the commencing point.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 26th day of August 1958†, which relates to Vincent County, at Omakau, is hereby revoked.

Harvey Street (from the No. 85 State Highway (Palmerston-Alexandra) to a point 16 chains measured northerly generally along the said street from the said State highway).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Vincent County, at Omakau:
No. 85 State Highway (Palmerston-Alexandra) (from a point 24 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Harvey Street to a point 8 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Hindon Street).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipukurau Borough, Waipukurau and Waipawa Counties) Notice No. 1, 1969.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The sections of road specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
