The Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 6, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 6, 1969.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 60-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SITUATED within Waitaki County:

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) (from a point 72 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the Ohau River Bridge to the access road to Buscot Station; and from a point 15 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Tara Hills Station Road to a point 40 chains measured easterly generally along the State highway from the access road to Killermont Station).

No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama) (from a point 10 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the access road to Glenburn Station to a point 48 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton)).
