BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1969—$16,000

THAT, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $16,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the Counties Act 1956 and amendments for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one two cents (.012c) in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of unimproved value, of all the rateable property in the whole of the County of Bay of Islands; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 20th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 15, 1969

THAT, whereas the sum of $20,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Waipareira “C” Sewer Loan 1963, $504,000, is due and payable on the 18th day of November 1969; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $2,200 and the sum of $17,800 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves

(a) to borrow the sum of $17,800 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

(b) that the sum of $17,800 shall be payable on the 18th day of November 1993, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

(c) that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 15, 1969, the said Council makes and levies a special rate of 0.0306c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Waipareira “C” Special Area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off;

and

(d) that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 14, 1969

THAT, whereas the sum of $24,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Titirangi and Waikumete “A” Sewer Loan 1962, $606,000, is due and payable on the 18th day of November 1969; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $2,600 and the sum of $21,400 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves

(a) to borrow the sum of $21,400 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

(b) that the sum of $21,400 shall be payable on the 18th day of November 1993, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

(c) that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 14, 1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.035c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within Titirangi and Waikumete “A” Special Area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the

THAT, whereas the sum of $12,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Kelston West County Town Sewerage Loan 1961, $180,000, is due and payable on the 18th day of November 1969; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $1,300 and the sum of $10,700 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves

(a) to borrow the sum of $10,700 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

(b) that the sum of $10,700 shall be payable on the 18th day of November 1993, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

(c) that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 13, 1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0173c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within Kelston West County Town; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off; and

(d) that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

THAT, whereas the sum of $20,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Orewa Domain Improvements Loan 1959, $30,000, is due and payable on the 10th day of November 1969; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $8,700 and the sum of $11,300 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves

(a) to borrow the sum of $11,300 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

(b) that the sum of $11,300 shall be payable on the 10th day of November 1979, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

(c) that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 12, 1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0015c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off; and

(d) that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.
