NOTICE OF CEASING TO HAVE PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

NOTICE is hereby given that The Employers’ Liability Assurance Corporation Ltd. will, upon the expiration of 3 months from the date of the first publication of this notice, cease to have a place of business in New Zealand.

The business hitherto carried on in New Zealand by The Employers’ Liability Assurance Corporation Ltd. will continue to be carried on by the Northern Assurance Co. Ltd., a member of the Commercial Union Group.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER of UNIT SHIPPING CO. (N.Z.) LIMITED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand Northern District (Auckland Registry) dated the 26th day of September 1969 confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from $250,000 to $200,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 3rd day of October 1969. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Unit Shipping Co. (N.Z.) Limited henceforth is $200,000 divided into 200,000 shares of $1.00 each. At the date of registration of this minute the full sum of $1.00 has been paid up on 15,570 of such shares being the shares numbered 1–15570 inclusive and no amount has been paid up in respect of the remaining 184,430 shares in the capital of the company.”

Dated this 3rd day of October 1969.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 30th day of September presented to the said Court by G. E. C. (New Zealand) Limited a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 85–87 Ghuznee Street, Wellington AND that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 31st day of October 1969 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; AND any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
