WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 11, 1969
THAT, whereas the sum of $60,900, borrowed by the Waitemata
County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan
1968, $260,000, is due and payable on the 1st day of November
1969; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said
loan amounts to only $14,300 and the sum of $46,600 is
required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County
Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves
(a) to borrow the sum of $46,600 for the purpose of repaying
the said loan;
(b) that the sum of $46,600 shall be payable on the 1st day
of November 1989, or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council;
(c) that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 11,
1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of 0.0354c in the dollar on the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property within Te
Atatu Riding; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate through the currency of the
loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each
year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off; and
(d) that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of
an extract from the minutes passed by the Waitemata County
Council on 25 September 1969.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Regional Centre Loan 1968, $320,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $320,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the purchase
of land for a regional centre, the said Waitemata County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.2842c in the dollar
on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
20 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

FEATHERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

New Fire Station Loan
MINUTES of a special meeting of the Featherston Borough
Council held in the Borough Council Chambers, Fox Street, on
Thursday, 20 March 1969, at 7.50 p.m:

That, the Featherston Borough Council applies to the Local
Authorities Loans Board for its sanction for the borrowing of
$30,000 for the purpose of erecting a new fire station and
amenities. The security of the loan shall be a special rate of
0.35524538c in the dollar on the unimproved value of all
rateable properties in the Borough of Featherston. The said
security rate shall not be levied or collected, the loan charges
will be met 40 percent from borough revenue and 60 percent
from the Fire Service Council subsidy.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Housing Loan No. 2, 1969, $10,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) authorised
to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting
accommodation for old people, the said Lower Hutt City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.004 of a
cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the
annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower
Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 40 years,
or until such time as the loan is paid off".

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 22
September 1969.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm-water Drainage Loan, 1969, $40,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower
Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) authorised
to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the
improvement of storm-water drainage in the Te Mome area,
the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of 0.028 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable
property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan
is paid off".

at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 22
September 1969.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1969, of $6,000, authorised to be
raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking
fund of one thousand nine hundred dollars so as to redeem at
maturity that part of Redemption Loan No. 2, 1963, which
matures on 1 October 1969, the said Nelson Harbour Board
hereby makes the special rate of $0.0000073 in the dollar on
the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board district; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of October in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid
off.
