A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a limited access road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of October 1969.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Rotorua Survey District, described as follows:

0 0 23.4 Part Okoheriki 2D 3B Block; coloured sepia on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22257 (S.O. 44043) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 26th day of August 1955 to be street.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for railway purposes) shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that such road shall be under the control of the Waitaki County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other roads are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Easement over Land Taken for Electricity Works in Block II, Sumner Survey District, Heathcote County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement in gross for electricity works is hereby taken over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit electric power and energy over the said described land, together with the ancillary rights described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the 13th day of October 1969.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Land over Which Easement is Taken
All that piece of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 38.8 perches situated in Block II, Sumner Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Lots 45 and 48, D.P. 3416, and being part Rural Section 24077; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23604 (S.O. 11287) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Description of Ancillary Rights
The right to the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch to construct, equip, maintain, renew, repair, operate, and patrol transmission lines thereon for the transmission and distribution of electric power and energy; which lines may consist of and include any tower, pylon, gantry, pole, support, insulator, casing, tube, maintenance telephone wire, line, cable, or other conductor used, or intended to be used, for the transmission and distribution of electric power and energy and the support, maintenance, protection, or insulation of any such transmission lines as may seem necessary or desirable: and, for the aforesaid purposes, servants, workmen, and agents of the Corporation of the City of Christchurch may, from time to time and at all times, enter by the most expedient route upon the said described land or any part thereof, with or without any suitable means of conveyance, and with all such tools, machinery, articles, and materials as may be necessary, desirable, or proper for the doing of anything hereby authorised, and to make and construct all such works as may be necessary and proper for such purposes, and to remove such transmission lines or any part thereof, and, from time to time, to deposit and store on the said described land tools, machinery, equipment, and materials of any kind to be used in the construction or repairing of such transmission lines, but only for so long a period as such work is actually in progress, and to remove or carry away the same or any part thereof during or upon completion of the said work.
