Allocating Railway Land for Road in Block XIII, Pouatu Survey District, Stratford County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was reserved for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose), shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that such road shall be maintained by the Stratford County Council in like manner as other public roads are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

RESERVE 2126 (formerly part Rural Sections 3128 and 4180), situated in Block X, Waimea Survey District: area, 7 acres and 37.2 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 5362).
As shown on plan S. 51/5 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said land to be Crown land, and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

Union of Mandeville, Pukerau, and Glencoe Districts to Form the Eastern Southland Pest Destruction District (Notice No. Ag. 10503)

At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of October 1969

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Union of Mandeville, Pukerau, and Glencoe Pest Destruction Districts Declaration 1969.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Mandeville Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of December 1954*), the Pukerau Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day of September 1941†), and the Glencoe Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day of October 1947‡) are hereby declared united to form one district having the name Eastern Southland Pest Destruction District, the boundaries of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto; and it is hereby further declared that the basis on which the Board for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF EASTERN SOUTHLAND PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Southland and Clutha, Southland and Otago Land Districts, containing an estimated area of 348,827 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the new channels of the Hedgehope Stream and Makarewa River, constructed by the Southland Catchment Board in 1966 and 1967, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally along the left bank of the new course of the Makarewa River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 193, Block V, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly generally across a road reserve and along the southern boundaries of Sections 193 and 194, Block V, Forest Hill Hundred, to the northernmost corner of Section 323, Block V, aforesaid; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 323 to the north-western side of a public road forming the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 323; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of the said public road to the south-western corner of Block IX, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly and northerly generally along the southern and eastern boundaries of Block IX, aforesaid, to the southern boundary of Section 133, Block X, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 133, Block X, aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 133, Block X, aforesaid, and that boundary produced to the northern boundary of Block X aforesaid; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Block X, aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 429, Block X, aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of
