The Road Classification (Ohinemuri County) Notice No. 1, 1969

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Ohinemuri County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

  2. The Ohinemuri County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The Warrants dated the 22nd day of August 1967†, the 20th day of August 1965‡, and the 3rd day of October 1950§, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby revoked.

OHINEMURI COUNTY

Roads Classified in Class Two

All roads under the control of the Ohinemuri County Council, except School Road (Karangahake).

Roads Classified in Class Three

School Road (Karangahake).

Office Attendance—Magistrate’s Court, Waimate

Pursuant to rule 11 (2) of the Magistrates’ Courts Rules 1948, the Minister of Justice has formally directed that the office of the Magistrate’s Court at Waimate be open on Tuesday only of each week and on the Friday preceding each monthly sitting of the Court, between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m., and 1.30 p.m. and 4 p.m., on and from 23 September 1969.

Timber Preservation Regulations 1955—Specifications

Pursuant to regulation 8 (2), (d) of the Timber Preservation Regulations 1955, notice is hereby given that the Timber Preservation Authority has approved and published revised specifications for the treatment of timber.

The publication Timber Preservation in New Zealand: Specifications is available from the New Zealand Timber Development Association (Incorporated), P.O. Box 12–065, Wellington North, and from Government Printing Office bookshops.

The previous specifications, Timber Preservation in New Zealand—II—Specifications, first published in 1963, is hereby cancelled.

This notice takes effect 14 clear days from the day of its publication in the Gazette.

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto the lands described in those notices were declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of those lands have been changed by subsequent order of the Maori Land Court and they are now known by the description set out in the Second Schedule hereto; and whereas it is therefore desired to replace the notices aforesaid by a further notice referring to the lands under the current appellation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 61.

  2. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

  3. This notice is issued in replacement of the notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto, which are hereby revoked.

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto the lands described in those notices were declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of some of those lands have been changed by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court; and whereas some of those lands have since been released from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid; and whereas it is considered necessary that the balance of such lands (under their present appellations) shall remain subject to the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 62.

  2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by notices issued contemporaneously with this notice, as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
