A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of October 1969.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 11.5 perches situated in Block XV, Newcastle Survey District, being part Lot 1, D.P. S. 11564; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23523 (S.O. 44094) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of September 1969.

An Electric Cable Easement over Land Taken for Electricity Works in the Borough of Rangiora and Previous Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 3rd day of May 1969 and published in Gazette, 15 May 1969, No. 28, p. 887, declaring an electric cable easement over land taken for electricity works in the Borough of Rangiora; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that an electric cable easement in gross is hereby taken for electricity works over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Rangiora as from the date hereinafter mentioned the right to convey and transmit electric power and energy over, under, and along the land described in the Schedule hereto, by means of underground cable or cables now or hereafter to be laid, or any cable or cables laid in substitution therefor, and shall include the full, free right, liberty, licence, privilege, and authority in perpetuity to the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Rangiora, its servants, agents, and workmen, from time to time and at all times hereafter, to enter upon the said land and to dig trenches and lay cable or cables and construct thereon and thereunder such cable ducts and other structures as may be necessary or desirable for any purpose connected with the said easement and for the inspection, maintenance, installation, repair, and/or replacement of the said cable or cables and any associated equipment or fittings, so that the same may at all times be kept in good and efficient working order; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of October 1969.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 23.2 perches situated in the Borough of Rangiora, Canterbury R.D., being part Rural Section 1080 and part Lot 23, D.P. 21490 (being part Rural Section 1080); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23022 (S.O. 11083) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of September 1969.
