WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Loan 1969, $54,300
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $54,300 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0046c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Sunnyvale Development Loan 1969, $140,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $140,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing footpaths, kerbing, and channelling, and road widening in the Sunnyvale area, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.113c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Sunnyvale area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Silverdale Urban Fire Authority Loan 1969, $100,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a fire appliance and land, and erecting two fire stations, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0133c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a covered swimming pool and associated buildings on the Parakai Domain, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0065c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Additional Loan 1969, $8,500
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand five hundred dollars, authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought six cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at its meeting held on Monday, the 25th day of August 1969.

THE POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000), authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of a portion ($200,000) of the Extensions Loan 1959, of $520,000, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought eight one (.0081) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power District as is contained in the Cook County (including the Patutahi Town District), Waikohu County, Waiapu County, and the City of Gisborne; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
