PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said land to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

Boundaries of Inner Area of Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of September 1969
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. The boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby altered so as to include in the Inner Area the areas described in the Schedules hereto.

  2. For the purpose of the assessment of the contributions of the contributing authorities, made pursuant to section 59 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, the Waitamata County Council shall be deemed to have been a contributing authority on the 1st day of April 1969.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Waitemata County in Block XIV, Waitemata Survey District, containing 2 acres and 11.8 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 to 10 inclusive, D.P. 56847.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitamata County, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 50668, in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, and proceeding easterly and south-easterly along the generally western boundary of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, as described in the Third Schedule to the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, to a point in the middle of View Road in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 43027, and south-westerly along a right line to and along that boundary to a point on the said boundary 242.8 links distant from the southern side of View Road; thence north-westerly generally along a right line bearing 285Β° 51' to the intersection of that line with the production of the western boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 44328, and continuing along a series of right lines parallel to the south-western side of Glengarry Road to the southernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 44328; thence still north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of that lot and of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 44328, along a right line crossing Allotment 15, Waikomiti Parish, to and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 8, 9, and 10, D.P. 44328, to and westerly, northerly, and easterly along the southern, western, and northern boundary of Lot 12, D.P. 44328, to and northerly along the western boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 44328, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to its intersection with the production of the western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 50668; thence northerly along a right line to and along the last-mentioned boundary and the western boundaries of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 50668, to the point of commencement.

Also, all that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 49741, in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, and proceeding westerly along the southern boundaries of that lot and of Lot 4, D.P. 49741, to and northerly generally along the generally eastern sides of Shaw
