HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Western Southland Pest Destruction District Order 1969.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Western Southland Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 27th day of September 1961*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WESTERN SOUTHLAND PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace and Lake Counties, containing by estimation 974,000 acres, more or less, inclusive of road, railways, and streams, and bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the sea coast and the left bank of Big River, being a point on the boundary of the Fiordland National Park as described in the Fifth Schedule to the National Parks Act 1952 and amended by Gazette, 1956, p. 1607; thence proceeding generally north and generally east along the said Fiordland National Park boundary to a point on the Wallace County boundary as described in Gazette, 1968, p. 384, this point being situated 34 chains south of the east arm of Lake Hauroko, Block X, Hauroko Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the said Wallace County boundary to Oblong Hill, this being also a point on the Fiordland National Park boundary, aforesaid; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the said Fiordland National Park boundary to its junction with the said Wallace County boundary, this junction being situated at a point 71 chains south of Lake Monowai; thence northerly generally along the said Wallace County boundary to Crescent Mountain; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Run 463 and the production of that line to the left bank of the Waiau River; thence north-easterly along the left bank of the Waiau River to its confluence with Redcliff Creek; thence north-westerly by a right line across the mouth of the Redcliff Creek to the right bank thereof; thence easterly generally along the right bank of the Redcliff Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Run 415A 1; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Run 415A 1 to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to the source of the Spence Burn; thence north-easterly generally along the left bank of the Spence Burn to the western boundary of the Wairaki Survey District; thence north-easterly along the western boundary of the Wairaki Survey District to the right bank of the Aparima River; thence by a right line to the left bank of the Aparima River; thence southerly generally along the left bank of the said river to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Gladfield Road; thence by a right line to that north-eastern side; thence southerly generally along the north-eastern side of Gladfield Road, the eastern sides of Allison Road and Winton-Otautau Road to the left bank of the Waimatuku Stream; thence southerly generally along the left bank of the Waimatuku Stream to the sea coast; thence westerly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

- The boundaries of the Glencoe Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day of October 1947*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF GLENCOE PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Southland, Southland Land District, containing an estimated area of 106,827 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the new channels of the Hedgehope Stream and Makarewa River, constructed by the Southland Catchment Board in 1966 and 1967, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction along the left bank of the new course of the Makarewa River, aforesaid, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 193, Block V, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly generally across a road reserve and along the southern boundaries of Sections 193 and 194, Block V, Forest Hill Hundred, to the northernmost corner of Section 323, Block V, aforesaid; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 323 to the north-western side of a public road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Section 323, aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the said public road to the south-western corner of Block IX, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly and northerly generally along the southern and eastern boundaries of Block IX, aforesaid, to the southern boundary of Section 133, Block X, Forest Hill Hundred; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 133, Block X, aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 133, Block X, aforesaid, and that boundary produced to the northern boundary of Block X, aforesaid; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Block X, aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 430B, Block X, aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 430B, Block X, aforesaid, Sections 429, 428, 427, 426, and 425, Block XI, Forest Hill Hundred, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Block I, Waimumu Hundred; thence easterly by a right line to and along the southern boundary of Block I, aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the southern boundary of Block VI, Waimumu Hundred, to the south-eastern corner of Section 64, Block VI, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the eastern boundary of Section 64, Block VI, aforesaid, to the southern side of Perry Road; thence easterly, southerly, and south-westerly along the southern side of Perry Road, the southern side of Bushy Park Road, and the western side of the Glendhu-Mataura road to the southern side of the Gore - Te Tipua road; thence northerly and easterly generally along the southern side of the said road to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1503; thence southerly along that boundary to a line parallel to and distant 250 links from the south side of Charlton Road; thence easterly along that line to the north-western boundary of part Lot 7, D.P. 1257; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Lots 5 and 4, aforesaid, to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 1257; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the north-western side of the No. 1 State Highway; thence north-easterly along that side to a line parallel to and distant 250 links from the south side of Salford Street; thence easterly along that line to the left bank of the Mataura River; thence southerly generally along that bank to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 76, Block XVII, Town of Mataura Bridge; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary to the north-
