Declaring Land in the Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Patriotic and Canteen Funds Boards (Superannuation) Order 1969

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of September 1969
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
THE payment by the New Zealand Patriotic Fund Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) of one-half of the annual premiums on the policies of insurance on the lives of George Gordon Cleverley, Robert Sydney Marshall Levey, and Frederick Thompson (hereinafter referred to as the employees) is hereby declared to be an approved scheme for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 35 of the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Act 1947, subject to the following conditions:

The said policies of insurance shall be transferred to the Board and shall each remain vested in the Board so long as the employees covered thereby shall remain in the employment of the Board;

In the event that any one of the employees shall, before his policy shall have arrived at maturity, leave the employment of the Board, that policy shall be transferred to him by the Board and the Board shall be under no further obligation to contribute to the premiums payable thereunder; and
-
Upon the maturity of any of the said policies while still vested in the Board (whether by effluxion of time or by death), the proceeds of such policy shall be paid by the Board to the employee covered thereby or his personal representatives, as the case may require.
