TE PUKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Loan No. 3 (Reservoir) 1969, $50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Puke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Water Supply Loan No. 3, (Reservoir) 1969—$50,000, authorised to be raised by the Te Puke Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a water storage reservoir, the said Te Puke Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two nought five seven (.2057) of one cent in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Te Puke; and the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HUNTLY BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Huntly Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and improving the borough water supply, the said Huntly Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six eight cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Huntly; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Ngongotaha Community Hall Loan 1969—$29,500

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $29,500 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building a community hall, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.114c in the $ (nought decimal one one four cents in the dollar) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Ngongotaha County Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 (thirty-five) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Improvements Loan 1969, $225,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $225,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making alterations and improvements to the city abattoir, the Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.075c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 19 August 1969.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hydro Electricity Station Extension Additional Loan 1969

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of sixty-four thousand dollars ($64,000) authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing new plant, machinery, an electric generator, and other necessary works at Piriaka, the said Taumarunui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point one five six cents in the dollar (.156c) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property comprised within the Borough of Taumarunui; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing, subdividing, and developing land for housing, the said Taumarunui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point seven one five cents in the dollar (.715c) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property comprised within the Borough of Taumarunui; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”
