purposes, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a
special rate of nought decimal nought one two cents (0.012c)
in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City
of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st
day of October in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan
is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New
Plymouth City Council held on the 18th day of August 1969.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as
follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing as much of the principal
as is due and owing, together with interest thereon, on a loan
of six thousand dollars ($6,000) to be known as the Forestry
Encouragement Loan 1969 authorised to be raised by the
New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of establishing and maintaining an afforestation
area, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special
rate of nought decimal nought nought one two cents (0.0012c)
in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property in the City of New
Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of forty (40) years or until as much of the principal as
is due and owing, together with interest thereon, is fully paid
off."

Plymouth City Council held on the 18th day of August 1969.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as
follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of seventeen thousand three hundred and eighty-eight
dollars ($17,388), to be known as the Pensioners' Housing
Loan 1969, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting accommodation for old people, the New Plymouth
City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal
nought nought four five cents (0.0045c) in the dollar upon the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property within the City of New Plymouth; and that
the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of
April and the 1st day of October in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five
(25) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

Plymouth City Council held on the 18th day of August 1969.

THE WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC-POWER
BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board hereby resolves as
follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $500,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui-
Rangitikei Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of extending and improving the electrical
reticulation within its district, the said Wanganui-Rangitikei
Electric-power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought two four of a cent (.024c) in the dollar on the rateable
value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable
property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power District;
and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the said loan, but not exceeding a period of twenty
(20) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board held at Wanganui
on the 19th day of August 1969.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan 1969, $600,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 13th day of August 1969:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) to be known
as the Drainage Loan 1969, of $600,000, authorised to be raised
by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of meeting the cost of drainage works, the
Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought three five of a cent (.035c) in the dollar on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that
the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said
loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan
is fully paid off."

PICTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF MAKING SPECIAL ORDER TO RAISE LOAN

PURSUANT to section 13 (2A) of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the special order to raise
a loan of $40,000, to be known as the Picton Borough Council
Works Loan 1969, $40,000, for the purpose of purchasing plant,
installing water mains, and sewerage reticulation has been duly
made in terms of the relevant statutes; and that 5 percent or
more of the ratepayers have not demanded that a poll be taken
on the proposal.

PICTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Works Loan 1969, $40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Picton
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Picton Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
purchasing plant and installing water mains and sewer reticula-
tion, the said Picton Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0.38c in the dollar on the unimproved rateable value
of all rateable property appearing on the valuation roll of the
Borough of Picton; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.
