LOWER MANGAPIKO DRAINAGE BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Lower Mangapiko Drainage Board proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the straightening and improving of the Mangapiko Stream; for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Board under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken, as aforesaid, lies open to public inspection at the office of the Board, care of De Lautour, Toomath, and Martin, Chartered Accountants, 30 Teasdale Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Lower Mangapiko Drainage Board within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken, as aforesaid, lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council, in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 4, 1969

THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 4, 1969, $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Streets Improvements Loan 1952, $400,000, which matures on 1 September 1969, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of decimal nought nought seven nine cents (.0079c), in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 8 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 19th day of August 1969.

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Flood Protection Redemption Loan No. 3, $10,800

SPECIAL security rate: that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,800 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying on maturity that portion of the Flood Protection Loan 1961, $250,000, which matures on 1 November 1969, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00085c in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
