BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer Drainage Renewal Loan 1969—$24,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $24,000 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewer
Drainage Loan 1959, of $217,038, which matures on 16
September 1969, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought five six eight cents
(.0568c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the
basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half-yearly on the 16th day of September and the 16th
day of March in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

NEW LYNN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
“WHEREAS the sum of $21,600, borrowed by the New Lynn
Borough Council for street completion purposes, is due and
payable on the 23rd day of September, the 8th day of October,
and the 25th day of October 1969; and whereas the sinking
funds in respect of the said loans amount only to $6,419 and
the sum of $15,181 is required to pay off the said loans: now,
therefore, the New Lynn Borough Council, in exercise of the
powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:
First, to borrow the sum of $15,000 for the purpose of paying
off the said loans;
Secondly, that the term of the said loan of $15,000 shall be
10 years; and
Thirdly, that, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on the said loan of $15,000, the said
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
nought two four (.024) cents in the dollar upon the unim-
proved value of all rateable property in the Borough of New
Lynn; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-
yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in
each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
10 years, or such shorter period as may be determined by the
Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ROTORUA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1968, $60,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua City Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1968, $60,000, authorised to
be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of
purchasing land and erecting a vehicle testing station thereon,
the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of deci-
mal nought one seven three cents (.0173c) in the dollar upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property in the whole of the City of Rotorua;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 15th day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Rotorua City Council held on Monday, 17 February 1969.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $32,820 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity that portion of the Halswell High
Pressure Water Supply Loan 1962, of $124,000, which matures
on 1 September 1969, the said Paparua County Council makes
a special rate of 0.0005059c in the dollar upon the rateable
value of all the rateable property in the area included in the
loan; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Property Acquisition Loan No. 9, 1969, $175,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one hundred and seventy-five thousand
dollars ($175,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing property for roading and general development,
the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 0.121 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable pro-
perty in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and be payable yearly, on or about the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid
off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 5
August 1969.

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of August 1969:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of two hundred and thirty-seven thousand one hundred
dollars ($237,100) to be known as Renewal Loan No. 4, 1969,
of $237,100, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of the Street Works Loan
1959, of $400,000, and of Renewal Loan 1963, of $1,198,000,
