which mature on 15 September 1969 and 1 October 1969, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two five of a cent (.0225c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of eleven (11) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Renewal Loan (No. 2) 1969—$221,420

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal and other charges on a loan of two hundred and twenty-one thousand four hundred and twenty dollars ($221,420) to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Renewal Loan 1963 ($123,540) and the Electricity Extension Loan 1959 ($97,880) which mature on 1 September 1969 and 15 October 1969 respectively, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of $0.000235 in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 18th day of August 1969, passed the above resolution.

MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $55,000 authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage Extensions Loan 1958, of $68,000, which matures on 8 August 1969, the said Mosgiel Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one six cents (.16c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mosgiel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 5th day of August 1969.

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Rural Housing Loan 1969—$60,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Eltham County Council in the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers, the Eltham County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought nought eight four six five (.0008465) cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Eltham; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Eltham County Council on the 13th day of August 1969.

WYNDHAM TOWN COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wyndham Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $5,200, authorised to be raised by the Wyndham Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of meeting part of the cost of erecting flood protection works at Wyndham, the said Wyndham Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.550c in the dollar upon the rateable property of the Wyndham Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
