All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street.
If any objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing three acres three roods twenty-six decimal one perches (3A. 3R. 26.1P.), more or less, being situate in the Borough of Masterton, being part Section 20, Masterton Small Farm Settlement, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 346, folio 271 (Wellington Registry). The said land is situate on the south side of Michael Street, near the intersection of Michael and Pownall Streets, and is vacant land.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, a metal pit; and, for the purpose of such work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a public water supply for Springs Flat, the Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.041c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
