Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the drainage and incidental rights reserved by memorandum of transfer No. 280732, Wellington Land Registry, to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 11th day of August 1969.

Amending Licence Authorising Waikato Sand Co. Ltd. to Occupy a Site for Two Slipways in the Waikato River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 30 June 1964* authorising the Waikato Sand Co. Ltd. to use and occupy part of the bed of the Waikato River as a site for twin slipways, by deleting the words "Waikato Sand Co. Ltd." wherever they appear and substituting therefor the words "Gordon's Sand Co. Ltd."

Revoking the Foreshore Licence Issued to Frederick John Lucas for a Jetty in Collins Bay, Lake Wakatipu

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence signed on 8 June 1967*, authorising Frederick John Lucas to use and occupy part of the bed of Lake Wakatipu, at Collins Bay, as a site for a jetty, is revoked as from 31 May 1969.

PURSUANT to subclause (5) of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 3, 1969.

2. The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of regulation 18, subclause (4), of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (60 Miles an Hour) Notice No. 3, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 60-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 2, 1969.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 29th day of June 1951*, which relates to Buckland, in Franklin County, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Franklin County, at Buckland:

No. 22 State Highway (Runciman - Te Uku) (from a point 17 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from George Street to a point 41 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said road).
