to be a member of the appeal board set up in connection with appeals by Harry George Dalley and Louis Charles Harkin against promotion, alleged to have been wrongly withheld, to a position as foreman wharf carpenter.

Board Appointed to Have Control of Orari Park Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 10

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 10, and shall be read together with, and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by

(i) Adding after the item “Basins”, under the general heading of HARDWARE, subheading Builders’, plumbers’, and electricians’ hardware, in the Schedule, the qualifying words “in white earthenware (including vitreous ware) designed for fastening to a wall by means of brackets, with straight sides and front: nominal size 22” x 16”.”

(ii) Adding after the item “Sanitary earthenware”, after the general heading of HARDWARE, subheading Builders’, plumbers’, and electricians’ hardware, in the Schedule, the qualifying words “W.C. Pans in white earthenware (including vitreous ware), pedestal type, 16” nominal height, whether fitted with S or P type trap with rimmed seat and with a base nominal size of 12” x 9”, but excluding syphonic pans.”

Declaring Undertaking to be an Approved Undertaking

PURSUANT to section 110A of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, the Minister of Labour hereby declares the under-mentioned undertaking to be an approved undertaking for the purposes of the said section.

The construction of the aluminium smelter and supporting facilities at Tiwai Peninsula, Southland.

Declaring a Public Reserve Vested in the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 69 (4) of the Hospitals Act 1957, the Minister of Health hereby declares that that part of the public hospital reserve described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for hospital purposes and shall vest in the Crown, as Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

ALL that area containing 5 acres 2 roods 12.8 perches, more or less, being part Lot 156, D.P. Plan 44881.) As shown on the plan marked 58/10 deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
