Drainage Loan 1957, $508,000—Fourth Issue, $80,000, portion of the Purchase of Properties Loan 1958, $300,000—Second Issue, $80,000, and portion of the Victoria Street Parking Building Additional Loan 1961, $307,200—First Issue, $240,000, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought five seven two (.0572) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City), comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 23rd day of July 1969:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the Purchase of Properties Loan 1968, $200,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing property, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought four two nine (.0429) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City), comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CERTIFIED copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert Roading and Drainage Redemption Loan 1969, of $7,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a meeting held on 8 July 1969:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $7,000 known as the Roading and Drainage Redemption Loan 1969, of $7,000, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Roading and Drainage Loan 1958, of $90,000, which matures on 17 August 1969, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought one three (.0013) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-three thousand and two hundred dollars ($43,200) authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting flats for purchase by elderly citizens and making advances to the purchasers, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one seven six five cents (.01765c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until such loan is fully paid off.

Flood Protection Loan 1969, of $57,250

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the above Council, held on the 21st day of July 1969, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty-seven thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($57,250) authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of flood protection, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two five cents (.25c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Abattoir Improvement Loan 1969, $20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Waihi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a chiller and carrying out other improvements at the Waihi Municipal Abattoir, the Waihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two one five cents (.215c) in the dollar of unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Waihi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully repaid.”
